Film & Movies

Wichita movie theaters will exceed your expectations with a variety of ways to enjoy Hollywood blockbusters and cult classics. From a historic, nostalgic venue to luxurious theaters with reclining seating and the newest digital technology, your movie-going experience will be second to none.

Find unique pop-up film opportunities like the microcinema at The Lux, Tunes + Tallgrass at Wichita Art Museum and the outdoor RiverFlix series at Exploration Place.

The historic Orpheum Theatre is a performing arts center that also shows classic and independent films throughout the year. One of the locations for the annual Tallgrass Film Festival, the theatre also holds several other film series through the summer and fall seasons, celebrating cinema and cultivating an appreciation for movies.

Catch a triple feature at the Starlite Drive-In. Known best for its specialty carload pricing for special events, the Starlite Drive-In has been part of Wichita since 1953. It closed briefly in 2018 and reopened for the 2019 season. For first-run movies, visit any the Regal Warren Theatres or the AMC Northrock 14.
