Events not likely to be approved include but are not limited to:
- Most events held outside of the greater Wichita area
- Most fundraisers
- Meetings, workshops, networking and membership-only events
- Religious and political events
- Most book signings
Please note: Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar. It will first go through an approval process to make sure it meets the Wichita 250 calendar policy. The Wichita 250 committee reserves the right to approve or deny any submitted events and make any minor edits to event information as needed. Events are frequently added to the calendar, so please check to see if your event has already been included.
As a reminder, by submitting imagery with your event, you acknowledge you have full rights to use those images for promotional purposes. You are also granting Visit Wichita the rights to use the imagery for promoting Wichita as a convention and visitor destination in any of Visit Wichita’s promotional and marketing materials.
