Kansas Aviation Museum

Housed in Wichita’s original Municipal Airport Terminal, the Kansas Aviation Museum offers a hands-on journey through the city’s rich aviation history. Visitors can explore a growing collection of aircraft and aviation artifacts, step inside the historic control tower, and marvel at the beautifully preserved Art Deco terminal once graced by Fred Astaire. Bees, Babies & Behind-the-Scenes at Sedgwick County Zoo

Straight Outta Wichita 

Travel back in time on this whimsical Wichita tour, where you will step inside the very first Pizza Hut and see authentic items including the first sauce recipe written on a napkin and the chain’s original pizza oven. Savor unique local eats and treats from local spots that have been satisfying hunger patrons since the 1930s, and toast with champagne in a historic Prohibition-era building.

In 1958, two brothers started a restaurant in a tiny building on the corner of Bluff and Kellogg in Wichita. They named the restaurant Pizza Hut.
